How Can You Join?

To join as a firefighter or social member one needs to fill out an application and be sponsored by three current members of the department. Applicants will then have two readings in front of the members during our monthly business meeting and a vote will take place for application acceptance or denial. New members will be invited to their second reading and once voted in (provided their dues are paid) will gain all the benefits an active member would receive. Welcome to the Brotherhood!



Note: Firefighters must attend county fire school before they can take part in any firefighter duties.

Who Can Join?

We invite anybody interested in the volunteer fire service or community service organization to join us in helping protect property, save lives, and help the community of Pitman. Applicants must be 18 years of age to join and must be willing to participate in the activites that have made our department and organization one of the best in the state.

Benefits of Joining

There are several benefits to becoming a member of our organization. Our members are close friends and we have a great time when we get together. Of course we also have a common interest, and we hope to further our cause. You will also join a BROTHERHOOD that has a great history and takes great pride in all its endeavors including firefighting, serving the community, and socializing.
